NOVA SCOTIA - a seaside escape
World famous for its seaside villages - like Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and Chester - and the majestic Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. Nova Scotia is also known for its festivals (over 700 each year!), restaurants, and award-winning vineyards. From a bustling Farmer's Market in downtown Halifax, to fresh lobster straight off the boat, to artisans studios tucked along it's ragged coastline, Nova Scotia is the place to visit for world class local food and culture.
It's also remarkably diverse - sandy beaches you can stretch out on, the high tides of the Bay of Fundy to explore, and the rugged cliffs of the Cabot Trail. No matter where you are in this province you'll never be more than 45 minutes from the sea.
