Artisans work hard to be a part of the ÉCONOMUSÉE network, meeting a set of stringent criteria:

• They are innovators in their fields - finding new ways to bring traditional know-how to life.
• They are open for business - enthusiastically welcoming visitors into their studios at least four months a year.
• They are profitable, sustainable craft operations, hand-making an excellent product day after day and year after year.

ÉCONOMUSÉE artisans are often recognized for their high quality products and their contribution to tourism development, winning industry-specific awards (like the All Canadian Wine Championship) as well as awards from the Tourism Industry Association of Canada and Tourism Atlantic.
