We have been in business for fifteen plus years, started as a thirteen-woman partnership. Within the first year, half the partners resigned due to work and family commitments. Over time people moved away or reached an age when they wished to retire. For the past seven years, the business has run as a sole proprietorship.
We have most of the tools needed to hook, made locally. As well, most of the designing and all of the dyeing is done in house. Classes in every aspect of rug hooking are taught here and we accept special orders, both for product patterns and dyeing.
We feature three gallery rooms of rugs; clients are invited to handle the mats, and demonstrations on the fine art of hooking are always available.
