The Dark Tickle Company, our wild berry ÉCONOMUSÉE, is located on the tip of the Northern Peninsula in the community of St. Lunaire-Griquet. Driving time from the Marine Atlantic Ferry terminal in Port aux Basque to Deer Lake, an air entry point, is 2 hours, 40 minutes. From Deer Lake to St. Anthony is just 5 hours. Along the Viking Trail, the route to St. Lunaire-Griquet, there are three stunning national attractions. The visitor's centre for Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in Rocky Harbour, a 45 minute drive from Deer Lake. Travelling North, make a stop at Port au Choix National Historic Site, a 2 hour drive from Rocky Harbour. From Port au Choix, St. Lunaire-Griquet and The Dark Tickle Company is a 2 hour and 30 minute drive. Just 10 minutes down the road is L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, the first European settlement in North America and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. An upcoming ÉCONOMUSÉE is in Fogo Islands, home of the Fogo Island Regatta. From Deer Lake, it is a 4 hour, 30 minute drive. |
