About The Economuseum Network

The Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network (AEN) is a non-profit society that oversees the selection, transformation and networking of members in Atlantic Canada. Although independent from Quebec in organizational structure, the Atlantic Network adheres to the original program concept and works jointly with the Quebec Network to promote the concept and its members.

In 2001, the Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network established a regional office in Moncton, New Brunswick, to enhance member services and increase recruitment of new artisans.

The Network's mission is to showcase and celebrate traditional craft and agri-food trades and techniques in Atlantic Canada. The AEN is a non-profit association that works directly with artisans to develop a comprehensive experiential component of their product in their own studio/retail setting. Participating artisans transform visitor experiences and create deeper appreciation for their craft when they become part of the Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE Network.

As part of the broader International Network, the AEN works with ÉCONOMUSÉE artisans in the province of Quebec to raise public awareness of this unique network.
